That pic is definetly better because it really brings out the darkness and morbidness, if that's what you were going for... I personally think the picture is scary as hell and I don't like looking at it, but I do appreciate that it is good art! It blows my mind how people can be so good at drawing and painting and stuff, mainly because I suck at it... But yeah, good job!

I like the first one better, the face with the white background, the colors were awesome! This one is... I dunno, it's like you buried the awesomeness talent of color choosing and wierdness making under a more recognisable type of art (emo-ish dark drawing). I have no clue what mood you were looking for but the first drawing was totally unique and awesome (I need another word that means awesome) and Emily-ish.
The point is, I could totally recognise your style in the first one (wich is improving quickly btw) and I really liked it.
