you know, im home not only not even a day and i almost wish i could leave again. which is odd since i spent my whole week gone couting down the days until i got back. but i dont want to leave, not really. there are too many things id miss and things that i need here.
anyways, i love my bed. ive had the same bed for as long as i was big enough to have a bed. it's an ikea bed with a foam matress and it, combined with my comforter, is the most comfortable thing in the world. its in the corner of my room but i dont sleep with hy head in the corner like most normal people. i sleep with it at the other end mostly because thats where the window is. in the summer when i wake up, i love just staring out the window at the leaves from the ash tree right out my window. i love the sound of the wind. anyways, all this to say, because i love my bed so much, when i leave it, i usually sleep baddly, at least until i get used to the new bed. like this whole week for example. actually, this was a bad example, because i had to share the bed with my brother. now my brother talks in his sleep, breaths loudly (a pet peeve of mine), moves around and steals the blankets. now if you can think of one more annoying sleep habbit, i would like to hear it (no i wouldnt). anyways, i didnt sleep very well and woke up every morning with a sore back and shoulders which may be from skiing or from the bed, who knows, either way, the result was me being in a grumpy mood every morning. this was heightened by the fact that my family would make fun of me if i even mentioned it. actually, they would make fun of me even if i didnt say anything and just ACTED tired or in pain. yeah, hilarious. anyways, i usually get along pretty well with my family just this time i missed people alot. people would have made things better.
for anyone wondering, i went skiing at le massif for a week. it's about an hour past Quebec city, about a 6 hour drive. We stayed in bay saint Paul. Which consist of art galleries, fancy restaurants, auberges and a freakin huge church (considering the town had a population of about... uh.. not alot...). Anyways, our "auberge" (its about the french version of an Inn) was decorated by a blind man or woman. the carpet in the halls were plaid, the artwork was bad (actually, they had a few nice ones but as a whole... yeesh...), NOTHING matched and our room was tiny, had a tiny tv and the bathroom was posessed. yup, that about sums it up.
the skiing was okay, it was a little icy and it rained our first day. but we had two good days of sunshine and it was warm so that was nice.
ive run out of things to say or more accuratly, im being distracted so off i go.
