and so ends the long easter weekend.
well, i had a pretty full one. i had my inebriated fun night, my spending time with alex fun day, my work follow by hanging out with random fun day/night, my family and later on alex fun day/night and last but not least the day i spend talking on the phone and wasting time which was very little fun at all. i had 3 lenghtly (2+ hours maybe) conversations in the one day. all three times, when the conversation started to get to me, id end up curled in bed, completly covered in blankets up to my neck, staring out the gap between the blinds and the windowcill(?) . the first two times i could see the naked branches of either the elm or the mapple out my window. it's hard to tell which without the leaves. it was probably the elm since it IS the closest to my room. both times i could see the impossibly blue sky in the background. the third time all i could see was black and the reflection of the inside of my room. up on my wall i have a painting on silk i did last year i think it was. it's of a sun and a moon kind of melded into one in front of a blue background. on the sun side there are clouds and on the moon side there's a star. i quite like it, i did it in very bright colours so it's quite cheerful. the only problem is that since its right in front of my bed, ive spend hours accumulative staring at it and i now have a number of faults picked out that if i could do it all over again, id change. anyways, i could see the reflection of the silk painting on my window quite clearly. now here's the weird part. also reflected on my windowwere two narrow beams of light. im not sure what they were a reflection of, probably just some odd trick of the light from my lamp which was off to the side. anyways, they were spaced out just the right amount that, depending on where i was lying in my bed, it looked like they were shooting out of the sun's eyes almost like lazers of something. very peculiar... anyways, i just thought id share. often when im zoning out like that i start to make up odd patterns with what i see. how can i explain this... the windows at school have metal mesh grids inthe to prevent them from shattering if they break. whitout fully realising it, ill start trying to line up on of the grid lines with something in the background, like the top of a building or the curb of a street two blocks away. i catch myself doign this all the time. i know it probably looks (and sounds) weird to anyone watching from the outside because it just looks liek im staring vacantly out the window.
i think i should learn the art of paragraphing. these huge ones must be hard to read.... and yes, i am too lazy to go back and put some in, just like too lazy to go back and edit what i wrote.
well, i came in here to waste some time i didnt really have to waste so i guess i should get a move on it... boo...
