so, long time no talk i guess then... heh... heh... <--nervous laughter
*shifty eyes*
right so... last wednesday eh... so alot has happened since then sort of... canada day for one. the best canada day ive had in a while. it was craploads of fun. thats right, you heard me, CRAPLOADS!!!! yup, cant remember much after a certain point and im kind of regreting going to bed so early, but it was probably for the best in the end. i had work the next day, and the extra rest helped. yeah, it seems i had a pretty crazy couple days since i crashed on the weekend. there was the unfortunate timing of it being at my little cousin baptismal and ensuing festivities. yup, little Micheal James Yves Charboneau is officially welcomed into the roman catholic religion. i went to the ceremony and sat next to my brother and lily. as we were walking down the aisle i muttered to lil : "mmm... smells like oppression..." she had to surpressed he laughter. lilian is my hero. she stayed up until 3 in the morning the night before making a shirt because he "had no church clothes". now the shirt was nice. very in lil's style. now if you've ever met lily, you'll realise that "her style" REALLY does not belong in the traditional views of church. i saw my uncles mother (a very strictly religious and, as far as ive been able to tell, closeminded woman) giving her a once over followed by a look that i wasnt too sure was approval. this is the family that gave jasmine dirty looks for having the awesomest bright orange hair at my aunts wedding. she and i read a short peice during the ceremony so everyone got a good look at it ( not that it was hard to miss). anyways, they didnt like it. my aunt and uncle did and that all that matters though. anyways, back to the topic. lily is my hero because she walked into this church wearing an obviously homemade shirt and an old unmatching skirt right under the noses of very conservative folk. she was very cool about it too. anyways, after sitting through a mercifully short-ish ceremony done by the worst preist ive ever heard (EVERYTHING he said, even stuff he was just saying on the spot, sounded like i was reading from a book that was putting emphasis on all the wrong words) we went back to my uncle's parents house and had a barbeque. i spent most of that time with my brother, lil, and two "cousins" (my uncle's nephew's, not directly related to me). Andrew and luke are both younger then I. one of them (im not sure which one is which) is the same age abouts as lilian and patrick and the other is a year or two younger. nice kids, fun to talk with although painfully innocent. me and lilian had a hard time keeping a few of our "extracurricular" activities out of the subject of discussion. after an offhand comment by lilian (i think refering to a friend smoking up or something equally vague) one of the boys asked in a joking voice " you dont smoke pot, do you?" implying that this concept was simply outrageous. lily ignored the question and brought up a different topic with my brother who thankfully took the hint and changed the subject. very ackward. although at eh time i have to try really hard to hide the smirk on my face. i dont think its so much a problem that the boys know, but i dont know how much they talk to their mother. their mother is the one who will not let her children read harry potter since it featured whichcraft (yet seems to have no problem with violent videogames ). so thats my extended family. lets see... after the BBQ we went to my aunt and uncle's apparement (just close family this time) and had a small celebration for my aunt birthday (which was conveiniantly near). we had horrid ordered in chinese food and i fell asleep for an hour or two afterwards.
you know, i have alot more things to write about. but im just too tired... my contacts are sticking to my eyelids when i blink.
so ill make a list of things to i dont forget:
caride
music sam lent me
soccer game
and more!!!! (because ive already forgotten what specifially.. ill think of something new next time)
