morning review.

well, its morning. (or as close to morning as it gets for me.)

i just woke up. ive been having really cracked out dreams recently. i usually dont really remember them but more remember the fact that i was having one when i woke up. it usually feels like i was interrupted in the middle of something that i wont be able to get back. its kind of anoying.

im still kind of groggy. my eyes are half shut and still kind of running. ive been up for about 15 minutes so its not so ad but when i first wake up my eyes are all running so my vision is kind of blurred. i kind of just shuffle around the house when i just wake up to. then i slowly figure out to what degree my body is banged up if i happened to do something physical the day before. which in this case, it turns out i have. i went riding yesterday. i hadnt gone since last year. me and lil usually start much earlier, just at the end of school. i guess we were just busy this year or something.... anyways, we went. it was alot of fun, as it always is. that place is awesome. Lakshmi, the woman who teaches us and lives on the farm with her sons and husband, is a really cool person. teaching riding lessons is only a hobby which she does on her spare time. there's around 5-6 horses, maybe about a dozen sheep, a bunch (maybe a dozen..) of free-range (meaning they just kind of wander about on their own) egg-laying chickens and something like six cats... oh, cant forget the dogs. two HUUUGE dogs, scariest things on four legs, i swear. especially since the younger (and bigger) one isnt all that well trained and jumps. when he's jumping he can easily clear the top of my head with his. (haha. no short jokes please. he could probably clear YOUR head too jerk!!!) 3 of the cats are just kittens. cutest things ever. for some reason half of her cats are the slackest things in the world. you can grab them around the middle with one hand and swing them around at arms length and they'll just limply lie there, purring your ears off. this is good since i never quite mastered the sublte art of holding a cat. i usually ends up me getting clawed  and whoever is standing next to me will shake their head at my ineptness.

in the end, we had a good lesson. lil mostly rode Shanti and i rode Tory. we switched for a bit in the end though... shanti is this little pony who likes to make life as difficult as possible for you in the ring. she has been known to buck people off in the past. Tory is... much bigger. in fact she's huge. she can either be the easiest horse to ride or make things incredibly difficult for you. she decides since she is much MUCH bigger than you. she isnt very healthy. she has melanoma, some form of cancer. right now, she isnt TOO affected by it but eventually, and probably within a year, she'll have to be put down. its kind of sad since both lilian and i have basically learnt how to ride on her and have been ever since. its weird, once you are with horses for awhile you learn they all have their own twisted personality. you get to know all their good habits and bad ones, their strengths and weaknesses, what they like and hate... i could go on a list of all the traits of all of lakshmi's horses, even ones that have been sold and are no longer there, but id be talking until your ears bled and i dont want to bore you. all that being said, i dont want Tory to die and ill be very sad when it happens. you guys can laugh at me when i happens, i dont care. this is my blog and ill express my own feelings in it no matter how sappy, retarded or whatever. you can just deal.

last night i biked home at 3 in the morning. it was rather nice. my parents normally never let me bike at night because its dark and blah blah blah. but we bought lights to put on my bike so now they can let me do it guilt free. so yeah, i biked home last night (or this mornign?). it was quiet, no one was around and the wind was cool. it was very peaceful.

i have to work today. and study for the test tomorrow....

eep.
