yeah, when it comes to dealing with people and feelings, i suck. but im learning... sort of...
*shifty eyes* okay so im trying...
i realise i can be a very jealous person. but not in the usual sense of jealousy, like possesions or the amount of time spent with a certain special someone or any of that stuff... more in the sense of abilities. and its not even if someone is way way better than i am, then ill respect their abilities. but if someone out of the blue shows up and does better in something ive always prided myself in beinf pretty good at, i get rather, well... competitive. luckily, im pretty good at dealing with it. id never be unpleasant to someone just becuase after only a few years of soccer she can beat me. but i would be internally competitive. oh well, im a child at heart.
i burnt myself on my mom's pan the other day. she had just cooked banana bread and had put it on a counter opposite of me so i didnt burn myself. i love banana bread. anyways, long story short, i still manage to burn myslef. now the burn wasnt THAT big, maybe about an inch long and a centimetre wide. after the initial pain, it didnt hurt at all. this was on sunday. until last night. last night, the blister on top ripped open. NOW it started to hurt. but even then, it was managable. after halfassedly taking care of the thing ( i cleaned it out and put polysporin on it) i went about my business for the night and pretty much undid any care i had done. anyways, today the thing was a good deal more painful, seeping some clear liquid slightly and seemed to have some lint-like threads in it... this was not really good. anyways, after a day of the thing looking nastier and nastier my mom took pity on me and fixed it up. it was starting to turn swollen and red... now ive got a nice white goase (goaz?, goze? no clue how to spell it..) on the top of my wrist. it looks like i tried to kill myself but didnt know which side of my wrist to cut. cheery, i know. anyways, thats my fantastic tale of might and bravery.
i went to see King Arthur today with my brother and mother. its alright if you like your typical slash em' up war movie where the good guys win against all odds (oh come on, you knew it would happen!!).
my brother is doing karate now. ive always wanted to do a martial art, for as long as i can remember. i knew im weak and couldnt really defend myself if it came down to it and i dont like this idea. im thinking i might join him. we'll see if my parents support this and if i can fit it into my schedual.. i think i would like it...
speaking of my little bro, he just made his own new blog. lets hope he sticks with it and doesnt just drop it after a week or two like so many others... dont dissapoint little bro. *shakes fist*
anyways, i think that shall be all for tonight.. we tied the game by the way, and it was awesome.
im in love with soccer.
