im a commercial whore!

thats right, i went shopping!

yup, i hadnt gone in a while so the other day me and me mum made an excursion of it. in the end i got 2 pairs of capris, 4 tank tops (they were hella cheap) and this overshirt type blouse dealy. im actually wearing one of the pants now. SOOOOO COOOOOL. im in love with them. no, like actually in love. we're getting married. the ceremony is next week. none of you are invited. ha.

but seriously. afterwartds we spent like 3 hours looking for sandals since ive been wearing the same old ratty pair for like 3-4 summers now. we looked EVERYWHERE. we went again today. i hate shoe shopping. i dont like heals and im picky and my small feet make shoes impossible to find in the first place so shoes shopping is always absolute hell for me. we finally found some today after about another 2-3 hours of looking. ive decided that sport sandals are the ONLY way to go. we walked into the athlete world and felt worlds more comfortable looking for shoes there than in aldo or any of them type places.

before shopping today, i went with my mom to philemon. she's on the home and school board and went to help out with the min special olympics there so i decided to tag along. i was so much fun. i was pinning ribbons to the kids at the end of the race for the morning. it was so cool, they were all into it and everything. they'd line up and then run maddly for the other end. i know i say i dont like kids but i had a good time cheering them on and congratulating them all at the end. we were done by about 1 so me and my mom went out for lunch (although we actually had breakfast food) at Cora's. it was cool. what with me being home all the time ive been talking with my mom alot which is kind of nice.





you know whats a good word/expression? smitten. as in "he was rather smitten with her". i like it. i know its dorky and kind of old fashioned but its so much nicer than "he had the hots for her". but thats just me...
